Samantha Pitkin, LCSW.           A Personal Biography

 

I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker. I have worked with a wide range of clients including children, adolescents and adults. I have worked in community, agency and in-patient settings including Parkridge Valley Hospital, COAAA&D and The Next Door.  I have more than 10 years of experience within the field of social work. I have also performed in clinical supervisory roles, working with clinical internship students as well as clinicians working towards licensure.

 

I obtained my Bachelors of Social Work from ETSU in 2009 and my Masters of Social Work from The Ohio State University in 2012. I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2015.  I am EMDRIA certified in EMDR therapy and I am also an EMDRIA approved consultant in training (CIT).
