Dr. Julia Wood is a board certified psychiatrist. She obtained her B.A. at Wellesley College in Massachusetts and her M.D. at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. She completed residency at Harvard’s Massachusetts General Hospital/McLean Hospital psychiatry residency program. She has over ten years of experience practicing psychiatry in a variety of settings.

Dr. Wood has a private practice in Knoxville, Tennessee in addition to her work with The Middle Path. She has seen numerous individuals under her care benefit from the work they have done with the Middle Path and is excited to now be able to be part of this treatment team.

Dr. Wood is a speaker for Tennessee Initiative for Perinatal Quality Care and Postpartum Support International. While not at work she enjoys running, hiking in the mountains, and spending time with her family.
