Thomas Kustra PMHNP-BC Thomas is a certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He graduated from Wayne State University in 2020 with a Master’s Degree in Nursing, University of Phoenix with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in 2018, and Henry Ford Community College with an associate’s in applied science of nursing in 2011. He has been working in an outpatient setting for the last 4 years specializing in pediatric psychiatric care. He also works with individuals struggling with substance abuse. Thomas discovered his passion for helping those struggling while working the psychiatric unit in the emergency room for 8 years. He believes in continuing his education in new treatments, medications, and therapies if it means it will help his patients improve. It is deeply important to Thomas that the communication and comfort of the patient/family is always taken into account so they can trust in the care they are receiving. In his free time, Thomas enjoys logical puzzles, board games, and spending time with his family.
